An additional note for slow compiler: removing all the pug files you won't need speeds it up significantly.

Thank you very much for your review and helpful advice! The same is true for the Sass files: comment out components you don't need to reduce the size of compiled css file.

Just finished reading the documentation and reviewing all components which by the way look awesome. So far so good. The only temporary caveat i have found is that the pug task takes almost 2 minutes to complete which is a big wait for me. After being served on localhost, the changes to the code are reloaded almost instantly, so it's not a catastrophic thing.

Thank you very much for the review! Unfortunately, due to the size of the project the initial compilation takes 1-2 mins depending on the power of the machine you are working on. But once it's up compilation takes much less time because gulp compiles only parts that have been changed and its dependencies. It's not true for such global components like Navbar/menu. I would highly recommend to edit everything first and than run gulp (I mean do not edit global components like Navbar in watch mode)
